  • The HIMA HIMax Is Achilles Certified!

The Wurldtech certification team is pleased to announce the 20th Achilles certified industrial control system. The HIMax safety controller from HIMA has achieved the internationally recognized benchmark for system security and robustness on the previous 2.14/2.16 and latest 3.8/3.12 versions. What is important about this announcement, beyond HIMA’s achievement, is the fact that vendors are now starting to get multiple products and successive versions certified, demonstrating a longer-term mindset by vendors. This is a big win for the industry as the Achilles testing platform and associated certification program crosses the “chasm” from the early adopter vendors looking to one-off test ...

  • A Tipping Point Nears….

This is a long one… Having now been in The Netherlands for the past three weeks helping to expand Wurldtech into the region and building a operations team to service our European customers, I’ve been fortunate enough to also be directly involved in the introduction of a new cyber security initiative which I believe will result in a paradigm shift for process automation and control stakeholders worldwide.
