This BLOG has been an excellent way to get our message out to the world and enabled some of the best minds in the industrial cyber security space to share their insights and experiences and further contribute to the collective knowledge-base the industry so desperately needs.

This medium also affords me the opportunity to connect directly with our clients, friends, investors and staff to share in what I feel has been one of the most amazing success stories of my career to date. With that in mind, I wish to share a small story.

Let me preface this with a disclaimer that as most of you know Wurldtech demands that our products and services stand on their own merits and we firmly refuse to promulgate unsubstantiated claims about our technology. Our culture is built on a vision that encourages innovation rather than exclamation. Moreover, with recent entrants into the world of industrial cyber-security and the seemingly endless array of new products and services, which in this executive’s humble opinion add little more than confusion to the market, I felt it time to put a stake in the ground and challenge the industry to see past the FUD and silicon-valley hype and focus on the simple problem as it exists today: How can we help vendors and operators develop and deploy more reliable and resiliant industrial systems. PERIOD

Stepping-off the soapbox… After the launch of our Achilles Platform a short time ago, our test team traversed four continents conducting Achilles assessments on various systems that are deployed throughout the world in critical infrastructure and other automation and process control networks. On this trip we encountered several other technical solution providers whom have been developing testing tools as well as other security solutions that that are available to protect industrial automation devices and we had the privilege to put our technology to the test. The results left not only us, but more importantly our customers, with a clear demonstration that Achilles is simply unmatched when it comes to evaluating security vulnerability profiles of industrial systems, and other technologies, although perhaps well-marketed, clearly lack the intelligence required to add value for the industrial automation industry. To further re-inforce this point it stands to repeat that in EVERY SINGLE CASE the Achilles technology provided a more comprehensive assessment of the overall risks and found numerous critical errors that negatively impacted I/O functionality that other testing tools did not – which all of us know in the world of process automation is not just a “nice to have” but a basic requirement of any QA testing. This truly is a compelling endorsement of our team, technology and commitment to excellence.

To conclude, this BLOG entry is not meant as a Boast but rather a Toast to the dedicated development team who work tirelessly every day on building the best testing technology on the planet. This is a true testament to your innovative spirit and commitment to the advancement of critical infrastructure protection.
