Wurldtech & The European Organization For Nuclear Research

We typically do not blog about customer engagements given our restrictive disclosure requirements and sensitive nature of our work, but thankfully more and more of our users are starting to speak out and share their experiences with the Achilles technology. One of our latest users just happened to be the security team at CERN, the international nuclear research facility that houses the now infamous large hadron collider (LHC).

If you aren’t familiar with CERN you can learn more here.

Unfortunately, we can’t share the results of our testing but we can share with you a quote from the manager of security research:
"The Achilles Satellite is an extremely powerful and comprehensive network testing tool that, unlike traditional vulnerability scanners or security analyzers, provides users excellent insight into the resilience of industrial control systems. It helps our engineering team identify previously undetected protocol vulnerabilities in critical CERN control systems."
As far as a cool factor goes, the only thing left to test is the new Virgin Galactic space ship!
