Wurldtech & Shell At Upcoming ICSJWG

Wurldtech’s CEO Tyler Williams, together with cyber security leaders from Shell and at least one (yet to be selected) major process automation and control system supplier, will be presenting at this year’s US Department Of Homeland Security’s Industrial Control Systems Joint Working Group (ICSJWG) conference. The topic will be the Achilles Functional Cyber Security Best Practices Certification program.

At last year’s ICSJWG, Wurldtech, Shell and Invensys announced the creation of the program along with the strategic objectives and timelines for 2009 and 2010.

Our presentation at this year’s conference will provide the attendees with an update on the program’s progress to date as well as a detailed overview of the general reference model, the certification conformance requirements, types of evidence required, and the procedure and resources needed to accomplish certification. Join the project team and:

  • Hear directly from industry leaders who explain why a cyber security best practices certification program is so valuable for industrial control and automation stakeholders
  • Review the minimum vendor requirements and their alignment to international standards such as ISA SP99 and NIST 800-53
  • Learn about the Achilles certification program framework, the costs and benefits, the process, guidelines and overall business case for the adoption
  • Review the results of the recent pilot program with five major industrial control and automation system equipment manufacturers

Conference details can be found here.
