Paul Rogers, President and Chief Executive Officer
Paul Rogers is the President and CEO of Wurldtech, and is the General Manager of Industrial Cyber Security for GE. Paul is responsible for setting the growth strategy and vision for Wurldtech's products, services and its prestigious Achilles Certifications – Wurldtech is a world-wide leader in providing Industrial Cyber Security solutions to customers ranging from Oil & Gas, Power & Water, Transportation, Aviation and Healthcare. He is also chartered with leading industrial cyber security initiatives for GE, GE Software and its customers to protect critical infrastructure and the industrial internet. During his 15+ year career at GE, Paul has held several leadership roles with global teams including Chief Development Officer GE Software, Senior General Manager of the Software Solutions Group at GE Energy (which led GE’s product development strategy for Smart Grid solutions), General Manager of Quality/Operations for GE Energy Engineering, and an Engineering Leader for GE’s Wind Systems division. Prior to GE, he was a principal corporate stakeholder in Praxis Engineers where he served as the engineering and product line leader and visionary, until the company was acquired by GE in 2001. Paul is the recipient of numerous GE accolades in executive leadership, quality, productivity and risk reduction and holds an MS and BS in Chemical Engineering from San Jose State University.
Nate Kube, Chief Technology Officer & Founder
Nate Kube founded Wurldtech Security Technologies in 2006 and as the company’s Chief Technology Officer, is responsible for strategic alliances, technology and thought leadership. Recognized as an international leader on cyber security, Nate is a recognized subject matter expert in embedded device protection for high-availability process automation, medical and healthcare industries. He has created an extensive Intellectual Property portfolio and has filed numerous authored patents in formal test methods and critical systems protection. Nate has also co-authored numerous security publications for the embedded device security market, and frequently presents on cyber security issues. Mr. Kube has testified on smart grid interoperability standards for the US Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and serves as an expert for the TC65 working group on the IEC 62443-2-4 international standards project. Denny Walsh, Chief Operating Officer & Integration Leader
Denny Walsh joined GE in 2000 and has held multiple roles throughout his GE career. Prior to GE, Denny was an entrepreneur and founded On Call – Computer Consultants, Inc. The company implemented large-scale manufacturing automation systems and consulted in business integration. He sold the business after 12 years. Denny joined GE in 2000 and had roles in Supply Chain, IT, Sales, Marketing and Six Sigma where he certified as a Master Black Belt. In 2005 he moved into Business Development (M&A), as Director of Business Development conducting Mergers, Acquisitions and Divestitures. He has worked on large acquisitions such as Smith’s Aerospace, with 12,000 employees and 56 global sites, and recently he was on the integration team that formed the Avionics JV in China. In 2011 Denny started FES (Flight Efficiency Services – GE Aviation), which was the culmination of three acquisitions. He has had multiple roles over 4 years, Chief Operating Officer, Product Leader and Director of Commercial Operations. Denny attended the University of Cincinnati and graduated with a B.S. Degree in Economics & Computer Science and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Xavier University.
Michelle Bockman, Vice President of Services
Michelle Bockman is currently leading the Professional Service organization of Wurldtech, building out and growing the business globally, and splitting her time between San Ramon, CA and Vancouver. Before leading the Wurldtech Service org, Michelle led the Global Parts & Repair Solutions organization within GE Healthcare Global Services, responsible for $750M gross inventory, 60 warehouses and four global repair centers delivering 3M parts/year with 90% shipping within 24 hours. In addition, Michelle was the GM, Service in the Americas region for GE Healthcare – Life Sciences, located in Piscataway, New Jersey. She rebuilt their $90M service organization, delivering healthy revenue and margin growth and high customer satisfaction. Michelle also led a service region in Washington DC/Maryland covering diagnostic imaging, IT Pacs, Ultrasound and Invasive Cardiology delivering high growth. She has been with GE since November 2000, starting with GE Industrial Systems on the commercial side in sales, then moving to GE Healthcare, and spending most of her career in Service; however, she has also spent time in Supply Chain-Sourcing, Fulfillment, Manufacturing, Lean, and Global OPSI/forecasting. During her 15-year involvemnt in the GE Women’s Network, Michelle started and led two GEWN hubs in St. Louis, Missouri and Washington, DC. She continues to be involved in the GEWN, specifically as co-leader of GE Girls, leading the corporate program team focusing on girls in STEM. Prior to joining GE, Michelle held various positions in engineering, supply chain, service, sales and quality at Dana Corporation and Nikon Inc. She attended the University of Missouri-Rolla and graduated with a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Tom Le, Vice President of Engineering
Tom Le is a security expert who has been leading security innovation for over 23 years. Previously, as CTO for BT Security, Tom led the development of a leading-edge, carrier-grade cyber defense product capable of multiple tbps real-time ingestion, threat correlation and machine learning analytics. He was also responsible for technology oversight of BT's internal security estate along with the technology roadmap for the $450m/year BT Assure managed services portfolio. While CTO & VP Engineering for Counterpane Internet Security, Tom led engineering and infrastructure teams, creating the first SIEM in the cloud, resulting in Gartner placing Counterpane in the Leader’s Qudrant for MSSPs. Tom also developed and brought to market the first Whisper Service, providing contextualized threat intelligence to proactively defend against targeted attacks and hacktivism. He has held various VP, architect and consulting roles at companies including Pure Markets, Sun Microsystems, Open Systems and Acclaim Technology. Tom studied cognitive science at U.C. Berkeley where he developed artificial intelligence (AI) models incorporating digital signal processing (DSP) for complex time series predictions which are still in production today protecting high-value networks.
Kody Murray, Human Resources Business Partner
Kody Murray is the HR Business Partner for Wurldtech and Industrial Cyber Security, based in Vancouver, BC. In this role, she is responsible for partnering with the business’ leadership to develop and execute organizational-level strategies to align structure, culture and talent with the organization’s goals. Kody started her career in Human Resources at Toyota Motor Manufacturing in Cambridge, Ontario. She joined GE in 2003 as an HR Generalist for the Commercial Lighting business. In 2004, she accepted the opportunity to join the 2 year rotational Human Resources Leadership Program (HRLP). Upon graduation from HRLP, Kody joined GE Healthcare as a Human Resources Manager supporting Sales & Services Organizations across Canada. From 2011 to 2014, she worked with GE Corporate as the Region Learning Leader for GE in Canada, responsible for the delivery of world-class leadership learning experiences aligned to GE Crotonville’s leadership curriculum and GE’s Canada’s Growth strategy. Prior to her current positon, Kody had responsibility for the full scope of HR activities as the HR Business Partner for GE Healthcare’s Sales Organizations in Canada as well as the Western US. She holds a Masters degree Industrial Relations from Queen’s University and an Honors Bachelor’s degree from the University of Waterloo.
