Bell Canada and Wurldtech Work Together to Secure Canadian Critical Infrastructure
VANCOUVER, BC September 11, 2007 – Wurldtech Security Technologies, a leading provider of cyber-security solutions to SCADA, process-control and mission-critical industries and Bell Canada, the nations largest communications company today announced an agreement to co-develop, market, and deliver security assessment services to operators of Canadian critical infrastructure. Working together, Wurldtech and Bell will provide a comprehensive security assessment solution that leverages the experience and expertise of both companies to protect the nation’s critical infrastructure from cyber attack.
Through their alliance the companies will deliver to customers a unique combination of security products and services designed specifically to secure the industrial networks that operate Canada’s critical systems in sectors like Power and Energy, Nuclear, Telecommunications, Water and Transportation. In addition, Bell will become a key Canadian channel partner for Wurldtech’s product lines, including Achilles™, their world-class network security testing platform and industrial field firewall appliance.
